We have a terrific opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist who wants to join our team in our Calabasas office (this position is not remote).
What You’ll Do

Handle patient calls, providing resolution

Assist field Respiratory Therapists with clinical care questions and/or patient issues

Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients to assist in resolving mask and machine issues/technical problems
-
Perform needed compliance follow-up calls and exercise patient resolution management
-
Process machine modem downloads
-
Review data obtained from compliance software, analyzing patient hours of usage based on private insurance requirements, making recommendations to resolve any issues
-
Serve as “after-hours on-call tech” for patient calls as part of Clinical Care team rotation
-
Deliver equipment and setup patients as needed
-
Set up discharge patients on NIV equipment as needed
-
Provide customer service to walk-in patients, assisting with mask fitting, machine troubleshooting, machine set-up, etc.

How You’ll Stand Out
-
Current RT license
-
Previous experience in DME industry or equivalent industry setting, with familiarity regarding HIPAA regulations and patient privacy compliance

Competent in PAP, Oxygen and NIV therapy and instruction to patients

Demonstrated attention to detail and follow up

Excellent customer service skills
-
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Ability to work flexible schedule (on-call and weekends may be required)

Ability to sit and talk on phone for 8-hour shift
-
Ability to lift 50 pounds

Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
