Claims Assistant

Calabasas, CA

We have a terrific opportunity for a Claims Assistant who wants to join our team in our Calabasas office (this position is not remote).

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming mail and distribute to appropriate departments

  • Mail claim forms with required documentation to payers based on requirements indicated in payer guidelines and regulations

  • Conduct research to recover EOBs from multiple sources, ensuring that EOB’s are attached to secondary claims to support collections

  • Provide support for Claims Department as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, follow up, and ability to prioritize workload

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

  • Ability to sit for several hours at a time (sedentary tasks) 

  • High School graduate or GED required
