We have a terrific opportunity for a Claims Assistant who wants to join our team in our Calabasas office (this position is not remote).
Responsibilities:

Process incoming mail and distribute to appropriate departments

Mail claim forms with required documentation to payers based on requirements indicated in payer guidelines and regulations

Conduct research to recover EOBs from multiple sources, ensuring that EOB’s are attached to secondary claims to support collections

Provide support for Claims Department as assigned
Qualifications:

Demonstrated attention to detail, follow up, and ability to prioritize workload
-
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ability to sit for several hours at a time (sedentary tasks)

High School graduate or GED required
